The Bible Predicts...

Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.

I Thessalonians 4:17

The 75 Day Interval

As we mentioned, we do not feel that Jesus comes back to earth for the Second Coming on the last day of the Tribulation period (which would be 1,260 days after the Abomination of Desolation). The Bible indicates that there is a 75 day interval between the last day of the Tribulation, and the first day of the Millennium (the thousand year reign of Christ on earth) that we will talk about shortly. We believe that Jesus returns sometime during that 75 day period.

There are two types of people left at the end of the seven year Tribulation period; those who have not taken the mark and have chosen to follow God and not the Antichrist, and who survived the Tribulation, and those who chose to accept the mark, followed the Antichrist, and also survived the Tribulation.

The Bible says that those two groups of people are brought before Jesus, and we believe that happens sometime during this 75 day interval. The people who followed God during the Tribulation are brought into the Millennium, to rule and reign with Christ for a thousand years. They will be in their earthly bodies,(but at least they're there) while those believers who have passed on before them or were raptured, will enter the Millennium in their glorified, perfect bodies.

Unfortunately, the people who followed the Antichrist during the Tribulation and rejected God's way for their life, are cast into hell at this point, and eternally separated from God. This obviously is hard to talk about and hard to write about, but we can't pick and choose what we want to believe about the Bible. The Bible says that hell was actually created for the devil and his angels, but people, by rejecting Christ's forgiveness for them, choose to go there as well. So this "judgment" (it is commonly called "The Sheep and the Goat Judgment"--the sheep are the believers who go into the Millennial period, and the goats are sent to their eternal dwelling in hell apart from God) is one thing that appears to happen during this 75 day interval between the end of the Tribulation period, and the start of the Millennial period.

Another thing that may happen during this time is the building of the Millennial Temple. There is going to be a huge temple built for this thousand year reign of Christ, and no one knows when. The Bible says that Jesus Himself builds some of it, or maybe all of it......but given His profession at His first coming, that shouldn't be a surprise. God never leaves anything to chance!

After this interval period of 75 days, the thousand year reign of Christ begins, with believers who have either died or were raptured helping Him reign and rule. They will be in their glorified state, their resurrected bodies, and will be perfect, with no sin nature and no ability to sin. So they will be judging perfectly.

The question is, if eveyone is perfect, who will they be ruling over?
