One World System

We feel that the Bible predicts that such a leader is going to arise after the Rapture of the Church, and the chaos that ensues. This person will be a very powerful leader, (in fact the Bible indicates that he will be the strongest leader in the history of the world), but will start off using diplomacy, not force, to get what he wants. The Bible seems to indicate that his rise to power will be very quick, and many people who have studied this feel that he will come out of the European Union. In any event, he will dominate the world stage, and truly become the leader of a world that is in desperate need of direction. The Bible calls him a "beast," but more commonly he has become known as "The Antichrist." Now keep in mind that the word "anti" here has the idea of "false," not "opposite."

It would appear from the Bible that after the Rapture, the world will be divided into ten parts, or regions, with ten leaders over each region, all reporting to the Antichrist. Already we have the European Union. Perhaps there will be a North American Union, a South American Union, an African Union, a Southeast Asian Union and so on. Who knows? What we do know is that the Bible says that three of these leaders are going to attempt a coup against the Antichrist, which will not be successful, and they will be utterly destroyed. This will undoubtedly discourage future coup attempts.

All good leaders have people around them that help to carry out their plans, and the Antichrist will be no exception. He will have a man who has come to be known as the "False Prophet," a vice-president if you will, who will assist him in his attempts to dominate the world scene.

One of the first acts of the Antichrist after the Rapture of the Church, will be to sign a peace agreement with the nation of Israel, who he will promise to protect for seven years.
